In the first quarter of 2025, the Art and Design category on the Android platform in Malta saw intriguing trends among the top applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these applications showed varying patterns in downloads and revenue, reflecting their market dynamics.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $407 in early February. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of 330 in mid-January, followed by a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.

AR Drawing - Sketchar App showed a gradual increase in downloads, reaching 235 in mid-February. Despite no revenue generated during this period, the app maintained a consistent download rate.

AI Video - AI Video Generator had a revenue spike, reaching approximately $103 by the end of March. Downloads also peaked in early February with 201, reflecting a positive reception.

Genius: AI Photo Generator saw a remarkable surge in downloads, skyrocketing to 925 by the end of March. This growth, however, was not mirrored in revenue, which remained negligible throughout the quarter.
